I have the honour to inform Your Lordship

that I have recently received an application from the lessee

of Inland Lot 1704 and Garden Lot 36, for permission to con-

-vert the latter into an Inland Lot, the intention being to pull down the existing house on Inland Lot 1704, and to lay

out the combined areas to better advantage.

2.

I recommend that the proposal be sanction-

-ed, subject to the following conditions:-

THE RIGHT HON CURABLE

(a). The lessee to surrender the existing Crown

Lease of Inland Lot 1704 and Garden Lot 36 when required

by the Land Officer.

(b). The lessee to be granted a new Crow Lease of

Inland Lot 1704 including the area coloured red on plan.

(c). The new Crow Lease to be for the same term and

commence from the same date as the existing Crow Lease of Inland Lot 1704 and to be subject to all the clauses and covenants contained in the original Crown Lease to-

-gether with the following:-

(d). The lessee to pay into the Colonial Treasury, on demand, premium at the rate of 65 cents per square foot for any excess area over the area contained in the

existing Crown Lease of Inland Lot 1704.

(e). Crown rent for the area coloured red to be at the rate of $300.00 per acre per annum commencing from

the date of a letter from the Director of Public Works
